ICQs (Instruction Checking Questions) は、学習者が指示を理解したかどうかを確認するための質問です。答えはできるだけ Yes/No や 1～2語で答えられるものにします。

ポイントは、“Do you understand?” と聞かないことです。学習者は理解していなくても “Yes.” と答えがちだからです。代わりに、活動のルールを確認する質問をします。
