Two truth and a lie は、3 つの内、2 つが本当のことで、1 つがウソです。会話の授業で、スピーキングに活用することもできますし、ライティングの授業で、筆記にすることもできます。初級は1文ずつ、中級は2文～3文、上級は1パラグラフずつといった具合に、学習者の習熟度に合わせて柔軟に対応できる活動です。自己紹介の発展版のような形でクラスメイトについてより詳しく学べます。
Instruction の例：
We’re going to play “Two Truths and a Lie.” Write three sentences about yourself. Two should be true, and one should be a lie. Don’t tell anyone which one is the lie! Read your sentences to your partner. Your partner can ask you a few questions. Then they guess which sentence is the lie. After that, tell them the answer and switch partners.
